mais la pâleur du soir
chauffe encor l'âtre
la chaise l'attendra
jusqu'à la fin des temps

Die Abendsblässe
wärmt noch den Feuerherd
der Stuhl wird auf ihn warten
bis an Zeitende

Nevermore
Will he come back
yet the twilght pale glimmer
Still warms the fireside
the chair will wait
Until the end of time
